Psychology

One of the best intellectual investments you can make is to develop a basic understanding of human psychology. This is an expansive subject in which your author is not well-versed.

Even if you have no intention to work in any field of psychology, you can benefit greatly from an understanding of its principles. You can research psychology in your own time, but you may want to take one or more psychology classes in college (or audit classes after psychology) so that you can focus on this topic, engage in discussions, and develop greater understanding and perspectives.

One of the most important aspects of psychology is pathology, which is basically the study of when and how the human brain goes wrong. Because they can be the most dangerous, I list the dark triad/tetrad and cluster B personality disorders first.

Most importantly, avoid people that try to manipulate you emotionally or are otherwise abusive. I doubt I'll complete it, but I've written a great deal of content on this topic.
