JW Consciousness Stream - 27 November 2025

This entry represents something like my stream of consciousness for Thursday, 27 November, 2025. This is basically like a journal entry that I work on throughout the day and then don't go back to correct errors.

I haven't been feeling well or very productive since Sunday. It could be related to my foot, but it seems that even a little beer now has a big negative impact on me the next day. Almost every morning, our neighbor that runs a little restaurant in their driveway starts a charcoal fire, which makes the air in our house very bad.

Wendy didn't want to go to school today, saying she was tired. Kham reminded her about her birthday party tomorrow and she suddenly found energy. She got to take her bicycle to school yesterday. Tomorrow I get to see her dance at school, then she will have a birthday party here at the house. I will sleep at a hotel Friday and Saturday nights. If it's warm enough, the girls will come swim on Saturday, but it's been rather cold lately. Sunday I fly to Chiang Mai. Monday Wendy has a birthday party at school.

I've been working on some things for LinkedIn and published this one:

I want to write something about my politics, but I might focus on a LinkedIn control panel on which I'm working, releative to my previous posts about expanding and analyzing comments in a thread there.

Now it's 10:15 and I got that done:

I'll move on to my politics now.

Now it's 11:40 and I got that done!

Time for a break.

Now it's 12:20; next I might try to work on a piece about potential impacts of AI on Less Developed Countries.

It's almost 3:00 now. I didn't do anything about Less Developed Countries. I started packing for Chiang Mai, had some lunch, and did a few small things. I'm going to take a shower and then try to nap, but I'll probably end up listening to YouTube instead.

Speaking of which, this video had some interesting perspective on the current AI bubble:

This was also interesting, although it's slow, so I would probably scan a transcript rather than watching it again:
